Different Aspects Of Marketing A Blog

In the last post, we talked about few of the things that you should know what is blog marketing. In this post, we are going to go over some of the different aspects of marketing a blog that will help you understand how to earn money in internet marketing.

Marketing a blog is a fairly simple technique to learn. However if you’ve never had a blog before, and never marketed anything online before, it may be a little more difficult for you to understand. If this is the case, you may want to start off with a blog and just post about things that you like until you get the hang of how things work. Don’t worry it won’t take you long! Practice keeping it updated so that you can see what direct marketing blogs is, and what is required to get readers and try some of the techniques that we are going to discuss today so you can see how they work.

The simple fact is that marketing a blog will only be as difficult as you make it.

Different aspects of marketing

While you are learning all about the different aspects of marketing with blogs, you are going to find that comments on a blog are a very important part of direct marketing blogs. Just be sure to keep in mind that you constantly reply and acknowledge the comments and other remarks that are made to your blog posts as well as others. When you comment you actually show that you are a real person that can hold a conversation, you are letting others know that you are an actual person and that you really and truly have the best intentions for your readers.

Make sure that no comment from a real reader goes unanswered. When you do this and do it consistently, it will show your readers that you will acknowledge them and answer their questions. That will in return make them come back to see what your answer was if they asked a question.

  1. Hello Bat-el! 🙂

I’m having a new blog myself and i didn’t know that comments are so important, nor answering them! I will try to engage more into comment conversations! I also like a lot the minimalistic theme on our blog as well as the way you write. Simple but informative.

  2. Yeah, When started my online journey I still remember I was just blank. Everything seems overwhelming for me and until things turn out after few months. During that time I keep creating contents to gain more traction.

Just a quick question here, beside of comments what aspects should I touch on in order to achieve success in marketing my blog?

I wish to hear from you soon.

    Thank you

    • Hello Max,

Thank you for your question, one thing that you can do is to allow RSS feeds be taken from your blog. Allow other blogs to publish your content!

Second, is to update your blog frequently.

And another basic fundamental is learning and applying basic SEO techniques to your blog.

      Best wishes 🙂

  3. Hey Bat-el:

Thanks for this page. It is an important thing to remember that the people who take the time to comment on your posts and offerings are an important piece of the puzzle when you’re building a website and a following.
You are trying to get a dialogue going, after all.

The best thing about blogging, I think, are the interesting people who add their own perspectives on a subject you’ve written about. According to some experts, it does also help in your ratings so it’s a good thing to develop.

  5. Thank you for the information. I reply to all of my comments, but I usually just thank them for stopping by. I want to keep the conversation going so that the guest will come back. Any ideas?

    • Yes, if someone asks you a question regarding your article, the best is to write a new post talking about the issue.
When you finished writing the article, go back to your readers’ comment, write a short response and add a link to your post. It’s a great SEO technic you should use!

  6. I love reading your posts! As a new blogger, I am always learning something for your posts. There is so much to try and do. The best part is that they are pretty simple things which makes it easy to follow!

  7. I am always searching for ways to engage my readers. I love when they leave comments it gives me inspiration and quite often new ideas! Another great article, thank you!

    • I also love when readers leave me a comment. Thank you for your feedback!

  8. This has some very useful information. Thanks for sharing your secrets 🙂 My blog is still until 2 weeks old, so still in a baby stage. But the whole idea about “practicing” to update the blog with new content is a good idea. The more I write, the more I start to get an understanding of the sort of blog my site will become. I started with a specific niche, but now I feel I can write about anything, which is making me want to rethink the whole structure of my blog.

    • lol 🙂 I know this problem. When I start writing I have so many things I want to share, it’s hard to focus on one subject. This is why some of my articles are short and some are long…
Sometimes I just go back to an old post and adding some more content. I highly recommend doing that, as search engines will rank again your post with additional keywords.

Best of luck with your “baby blog” 😉
