  1. HostGator looks great but I don’t quite understand about the $100 adwords thing. I am quite newbie at this and if you can explain it, it will be so nice.

    • Of course, a lot of hosting companies use this voucher marketing technic to get new clients. When you join their hosting plan you sometimes get this kind of voucher. BUT, you can use to promote your blog at Adwords only if you use your credit card at Adwords and often if you pay something like $25.

So, it’s nice if you planned anyway to promote your blog with ads. But if not, it’ll just make you spend money you didn’t plan!

  2. I like Hostgator, and I’m surprised that GoDaddy didn’t make it onto your list. I’ve found that many “hosting” companies are really resellers for the bigger companies like Hostgator and GoDaddy. This was a great article and very informative, thanks!

    • True, GoDaddy is a big company, but I think that they should stick with what they do best, selling domains. I agree with you that Hostgator is everyone favorites, they are just the best.

      Thanks for the comment Wenda

  3. I have never heard of any of these, so it was obviously a good thing that I came across your post!!! Thanks for doing all the research for me and doing such a thorough job of comparing each of these top 10 picks. It sounds like – between your article and the comments of the others – that Hostgator is the way for me to go.

    • If you’ve started your own blog already, you’re using a hosting company… but you probably just don’t know that it’s called so.
In the future, when you’ll have lots of articles and images on your blog it’s possible you’ll find your hosting package may need a change.
And yes, Hostgator is also the first on my list.

      B.
